| The European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (EADV) was founded as a non-profit association in Luxemburg in 1987 with the purpose of providing continuing medical education in the fields of dermatology and venereology and helping to maintain high professional standards within our specialities, related professions and health services.
The aim of the EADV is essentially realised through its Congresses, the publication of its official journal, the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (JEADV) and its provision of CME accreditation.

Continuing Medical Education (CME)
The Congress is accredited by the European Medical Association (UEMS) in Brussels. Participants requesting CME have to fill out CME forms distributed at each session and identify themselves by adding their congress registration number correctly on the forms. Please check at the CME checkpoint that your mailing address to which the certificate shall be sent after the congress is complete and correct. UEMS accreditation is according to a charter recognised by the American Medical Association and American Accreditation Council. All participants are kindly asked to fill out session evaluation forms, which at the same time serve as instruments to make the EADV Congresses better and as CME quality control.
